Welcome to the Leonidas Chester website. The following are the terms and conditions for use and purchase products from www.leonidaschester.co.uk. Your use of the Leonidas Chester website constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these terms, which may at any time, be amended. Your use at any time thereafter constitutes your agreement to be bound by the terms as amended.
Security & Privacy
All payments are processed through our secure site in accordance with the standing Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations. It is our policy not to sell or pass on any personal details. We will store and process any details you provide at the time of registering or purchasing to help support our service to you and from time to time we may provide you with details of our products and special offers.
The prices payable for goods are set in our website and are in subject to change any time.
Payment will be processed at the time of order. The name and billing address given must be the same as the registered name and address of the card holder. Failure to supply correct details may result in your order being delayed. In accordance with the standing Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulation we will email you details of your order.
Payments are processed via Worldpay and are therefore completely secure.
We only accept payment in GBP.
You may cancel your order at any time before dispatch. Should you wish to cancel your order please contact our store on 01244 316 753 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. Your payment will be refunded on the day the notice of cancellation is given and might take up to 5 working days to clear.
We don’t accept cancellations after we have dispatched your order.
We take the right to cancel your order if we don’t deliver good to your area.
We will despatch your order the day it is placed (on weekdays) providing your order is received by 3 pm. If your order is received after 3 pm we will post it on next working day.
Orders for Next Day delivery will be placed on same day if received before 3 pm. If your order is received after 3 pm, it will be placed on next working day.
We don’t process orders on Saturdays and Sundays.
On the rare occasion it can happen that a product is not in stock. Should this happen we will contact you to propose an alternative product of equal value.
All UK deliveries are made by Royal Mail. If the recipient is not in and it is not possible to leave the item in a secure area, Royal Mail will leave a card asking the addressee to collect from a local post office. We don’t take responsibility if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available or due to the recipient failing to contact their local Post Office within a reasonable time to arrange collection. UK Delivery Area is United Kingdom, this includes Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales and Channel Islands.
Postage and packaging
The 500g, 750g and 1kg boxes are well-protected during transit. They have thier own specially-designed outer polystyrene casing which keeps the chocolates fresh and prevents damage due to temperature changes. The polystyrene casing also protects the gift-wrapped box that the chocolates come in. The attention to detail ensures that your chocolates arrive at your doorstep in the same fresh condition that they leave our shop. Other gift boxes are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure maximum protection.
If you are in any way dissatisfied with our products or services, we will always do our best to ensure that we resolve the problem to you satisfaction. You may cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched and we will issue a refund.
We will ask for all damaged goods to be returned, so that we may investigate the damage, we will refund the original cost of the productor send out a replacement product to you, once we have received the original damaged order back. We will refund the cost of posting the product back to us upon proof of receipt. We do not offer refunds for a late arrival of chocolates or due to other reasons outside of our control. If you haven't recieved your goods after 10 days of us posting it. Please ensure your chocolates have not been left with the local post office, as we will submit claims for non-delivery with Royal Mail.
Please contact us before returning the goods on 01244 316753 or email@example.com. Please return goods by Royal Mail using the followin address and please obtain a proof of postage for your delivery. We will refund the cost of delivery to you once we receive damaged chocolates back from you.

The weight of the boxes are stated on this website is based on an average weight of our range of cocolates and therefore each box may vary in weight slightly depending on the selection of chocolates contained within.
